BOLIE JACKSON

PRODUCER / SONGWRITER / MIXING AND MASTERING ENGINEER

Bolie Jackson is a music producer and mixing / mastering engineer based in Chicago. He was born and raised in Marquette, Michigan, and showed an early interest in music and technology. He began playing the piano and drums at the age of six, and he also took apart and reassembled almost every electronic device in his family's basement apartment.

After attending night school and earning his GED, Bolie moved to Chicago to attend DePaul University. He majored in Philosophy and Ancient Religions, but he also took classes in music production and engineering.

Upon graduating from college, Bolie began working as a producer and studio engineer for HecticMindstate Music. He quickly established himself as a genius behind the board, and his craftmanship was soon featured on albums by several independent artists.

Jackson has also produced and mixed for commercial projects, and his work has been showcased in television shows, movies, and video games. He is always looking for ways to collaborate with other artists and new ways to create music.

Bolie Jackson is a self-proclaimed nerd and recluse who loves technology, funk, and science fiction. He is an enthusiast of analog synths, drum machines and cutting edge music software.

In his spare time, Bolie enjoys reading Sensi’il Studios comic books. He’s a fan of the television shows Svengoolie, Cannon, Barnaby Jones, and The Invaders. He is also a deacon in the Church of the SubGenius.
